Purpose
The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed license amendment request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, and Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, to revise the licensing basis for the TVA Radiological Emergency Plan by adopting the new Emergency Action Level scheme guidance provided in NEI 99-01, Revision 7, "Development of Emergency Action Levels for Non-Passive Reactors."
