Shannon Rafferty-Czincila

Shannon has over 24 years of experience in the nuclear industry. She started her career at Limerick Generating Station a Systems Engineer & Program Manager. Since then, she has held positions as Director of Performance Improvement, Director of Engineering, Director of Organizational Performance & Regulatory, Director of Licensing, Executive Assistant to the Sr. Operations VP MA Region, Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Manager of PRA Risk Informed LARs. Shannon has been a leader in the nuclear industry where she piloted, gained approval from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and successfully implemented several 1st of a kind risk informed programs that have granted not only the Constellation fleet but the entire industry operational flexibility and reliability. She has chaired several industry committees for the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) Owners group and received the Electric Power Reacher Institute (EPRI) Knowledge Transfer Award for her work on developing a new seismic alternative for the 10CFR50.69 risk informed categorization program.
